The Lifewerks Giving Garden food pantry is helping to alleviate hunger and worry for students who are struggling to stay in school while maintaining the nourishment needed to focus.
The cost of living and escalating campus meal plans make college much more expensive today that it was just a few years ago. Students are leaving college with debts that will take years to pay off.
With the help of our student volunteers, we are redistributing food donations from area restaurants and individual donors, making sure that food doesn’t go to waste.
